Closeups and textures taken in/around my back yard
It was a deep gray outside and dimming in the winter afternoon, fallen rain still on the ground, and I saw the opportunity to get some interesting shots while I was enjoying some music.

A chunk of petrified wood with really pretty colors that's been in our back yard pretty much forever
Who knew rust could be so pretty and intriguing? These photos are all very much inspired by the works of Russel Mills and Rob Sheridan for Nine Inch Nails' art.
Started my day fittingly with "Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground" by The White Stripes
All of these ones take very clear inspiration from the cover of The Cure's "Seventeen Seconds".
